... all dressed in white

Today was a momumental day - today I bought my wedding dress:


Don't you love it?? Hehe, just kidding. I couldn't just go posting pictures of the real dress, or that would ruin it for Matt. :)

It was a pretty easy process. I had gone online this past week & chosen about 10 dresses I liked. I chose to get my dress at David's Bridal b/c they make it so easy. The other wedding dress boutiques in town just have too many steps involved.

I learned an important lesson today & want to pass it on to future brides - do not take your whole wedding party, family, extended family, future in-laws & your favorite baby-sitter to the dress appointment. Having my mom as my only other opinion was a fantastic idea, & there's no one else I'd rather pick out my wedding dress with than her.

I narrowed it down to 2 dresses, & after "marinating" in both, finally made my decision. The dress is bought, & hanging in my old bedroom. It needs hemmed before the big day, but the major decision has been made. We are good to go!
