Get A Room!!

Friday night Teri and I headed over to a woman's house who had wedding decorations for sale on Craig's list. We scored 13 centerpieces for tables at the reception for $35. That includes the glass dishes to put candles in and the flowery froo-froo things that go around said candle dishes. I'm sure that Teri could describe them far better than I can, but I'll take a crack at it. I believe there is some ribbon on them as well...and greenery...and a place in the middle for candles, which I've already mentioned. They're table decorations.

We were supposed to meet with a cake woman Saturday afternoon, but she canceled on us at the last minute, so I decided to be productive anyway and went to get alterations done to my suit so it will fit properly for the fancy-schmancy dinner night on our honeymoon. I will be able to pick up the suit on December 5, which is also the same night Teri will be picking up her wedding dress, so that actually works out alright.

Also, if anyone knows a good cake person in the Columbus area, preferably one who is on the cheaper side of the scale, shoot me an e-mail so we can get the ball rolling on that. Oh yeah, we also still need to get catering figured out, so feel free to send suggestions for that too. The food is the last thing on our planning list that is better to be done sooner rather than later, so I'd really like to get it crossed off the list.

On Sunday afternoon, Meredith whisked us away to the magic that is Delaware, OH (where apparently nobody cleans up after their dog) for our engagement pictures. It was quite a bit of fun, and the weather was nicer yesterday than it's been in a while. She showed us a few of the pics on her camera after she took them, and they looked really good. I know that Teri and I are both looking forward to Meredith getting them posted online so we can view them in all their glory. We'll just have to try to be patient until then. In the meantime, you can stare at this blank rectangle and imagine how Teri and I looked getting our pictures taken.

By now you're probably wondering what the title of this post has to do with anything I've written about. When Teri and I were having a kissing picture taken under the marquee of a movie theater, some guy walking on the sidewalk toward us yelled "Get a room!" as a joke. Well played good sir.
